There are two women's committee's in Beit Surik. Providing some work, as well as support much of the embroidery we sell is made by these committee's.

The Women and Family Centre run many classes including literacy and computer knowledge. Many of the older villagers have sons and daughters living overseas.

One of this groups aims is to raise money to buy chairs (they currently carry them from room to room).
